So glad to have found you on the net! I am interested in the pamphlet “The Reformed and Mary”. Many years ago I bought a book – Mary’s Place in Christian Dialogue (a symposium I think) – but do not have it now. It contained an amusing story of John Knox as a galley slave along with his companions in the boat – being asked on arrival in Nantes – to kiss the statue of Our Lady as it was passed round! He took a different approach and said “Well Mary – let’s see if you can swim” and with that threw the statue in the River! I told this when asked by a Church of Scotland Minister many years ago to preach on Mary at a Sunday Evening Advent Service in his church in Livingston. It was well received. Wonder if it rings any bells?? How might I purchase the pamphlet? Many thanks!
